Rules & Regulations

General Info:  The Chowan/Perquimans Smart Start Partnership reserves the right to determine item suitability.  Only those items pre-approved will be allowed to be sold or displayed during the festival.  Only those individuals/groups/businesses that submit an application, and pay the stated fee will be allowed to display and/or sell.  All food items must be pre-approved.  Knives, pop-rocks, fire-works of any description, spray string, odor producing devices, or any other items deemed a safety hazard or prohibited by state or local ordinance are strictly prohibited on festival grounds.  Vendors not complying will be asked to close immediately and leave the premises.

Booths Please alert Smart Start if electricity is to be provided.  Please supply your own electrical extension cords, tables and chairs.  All table vendors will be inside the gym, except for those information/education booths given special permission to be located outside. 

Vendors:  You are responsible for reporting your own taxes.  Please keep trash picked up in your booth area.  Large trash cans will be located throughout the Festival. 

 Set-up time is Saturday, April 14th, from 8:00 – 9:00 am. 

Event starts at 10:00 am and ends at 2:00 pm. 

The deadline to reserve booth space is March 16th.  No rain date.  No refunds.  Upon receipt of your application you will receive a confirmation via email or by mail.  Please call the number above if you have questions.
