On April 2,1067 attendees romped through the Perquimans County Recreation Center's huge complex participating in activities ranging from train and pony rides, face painting, to a fishing competition.
Special visitors to the event included Smokey the Bear, Batman, Shriek, Elmo, Cinderella, and Sparky, the Fire Dog. A big hit this year were the etiquette tea parties that Cinderella hosted.
Families visited at least five of our educational and safety instruction booths that were provided by local businesses and county and state organizations:
